Excellent! I'm so lax in putting my photos in my on line album (still have half of 2017 to do!) that this makes it easier to put a picture for everyone here to see. I think I'll go try it out in the scissor fob exchange to see how it works.Beaj wrote:Posting pictures using this Boards features.

Re: Posting Pictures using our Board Features.
Other than Amazon's Prime photos from which I can't actually show the image, just a link to it - I don't have any way of showing images from online. That makes this extra special. Now I can show my work occasionally.
Thanks, Bea!
Thanks, Bea!

Re: Posting Pictures using our Board Features.
I am having trouble posting a pic of my needle roll.
Can anyone suggest a resizing program and does any one know the maximum size I can post?

I don't know what the maximum size is but I can recommend Irfanview for both display and resizing. I've been using it for years!Leslie wrote:I am having trouble posting a pic of my needle roll.

Hi Leslie,
I just added my needleroll which was also too large. As Diane suggested irfanView works great and I just halved the amount of 1200 x 900 Pixels and ended up with 600 x 450 pixels and the size is perfect .

Re: Posting Pictures using our Board Features.
I use something called PIXresizer. It too is a free download. What I like about it is that you can set what the resizing is you want (50%, 25%, ??) and a location to save your newly sized image, and that info will stay as a default for each time you use the program. No thinking ....... just browse for your image and click o.k. and your newly sized image is done, with your original size still in tack.

Here's just a reminder on posting & re-sizing pictures on this Board..as a couple ladies have had some small minor issues. Hope this helps
