Description: A Recipe for Super-Easy Chocolate Cake
Warning! This can cause addiction

Metric Units
Time: 4 Min (850W Microwave)
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

100 g - Dark Chocolate
100 g - Butter
3 - eggs
1 dl - sugar
1,5 dl - flower
1 tb baking power

Instructions:

Melt the chocolate in the microwave
Add Butter
Melt
Add eggs and sugar and mix well
Add flower and baking power and mix well
Microwave 4 minutes (850 W Microwave) - will take less time in more powerful oven or more in less powerful oven.

Lemonade scones
Description: This recipe my mother gave me, It is a cheat recipe and most don't believe this is what it is made from. My husband makes these once a week (at least) and my favourite is when he adds cut up dates.... YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

4 cups self raising flour
1 1/2 cups LEMONADE (fizzy softdrink, one can 375mls)
1 cup of cream (we use thickened cream, straight out the jar)
pinch of salt.

Preparation:

Temp in Celsius

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients
roll out
use a glass to cut
place on baking paper
bake at 160 deg C. until lightly golden brown

Description: United States measurements
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

1 lb (pound) ground round (ground beef)
1 box of BEEF Rice A Roni
1 small onion chopped small
1 egg
2 cups of water
Seasoning packet from Rice A Roni

Preparation:

Instructions:

Mix ground beef, rice from the rice a roni box (SET ASIDE seasoning packet)....also add to meat, onion and egg.
Mix well.
Shape meat mixture into 1 inch meatballs.
Using electric skillet or pan with lid on stovetop place meatballs in.
Fry all meatballs till brown all over. Add seasoning packet and 2 cups of water to pan. Bring to boil....then cover and simmer for 20 - 25 minutes.

Smoked Sausage
Description: This is a favorite of my family. My son cooks this up every chance he can get. Grilling on the pit is a big thing around here.
Warning: a strong stomach is required.

Time: 45 Minutes
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

6 pounds of sausage (the kind you like)
1 whole white onion
1 bell pepper
5 large jalapenos (jar or can will work)
Hickory Smoke Seasoning

Preparation:

Fire up the grill!

Instructions:

Cut up sausage
Dice onion, bell pepper, and jalapenos.
Lay out aluminum foil and place everything on it.
Pour some Hickory smoke and wrap it up tight.
Put it on the pit for about 45 minutes.
You can serve it over rice or on a potato.

Chocolate Cake
Description: Norwegian measurements --- MMMMMMMM!
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

3 eggs
3 cups of sugar
1 1/2 cup of milk
4 1/ 2 cup of white flour
3 teaspoons of baking powder
3 teaspoons
1 1/2 tablespoon of cocoa power
225 grams of melted butter

Icing/Glaze
200gr flour sugar
4 tablspoons of melted butter
5 tablespoons of cold coffee
1 tablspoon of cocoa
2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 160 C

Instructions:

Mix eggs and sugar well
Add milk, flour baking power, vanilla, cocoa and melted butter
Place in pan and bake for 25 minutes

Icing/Glaze
Mix all ingredients together and pour it on the cake before it's cooled off, spread it all over the cake.

Apple Pie
Description: Italian measurements
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

125 grams of butter
175 grams of white sugar
2 eggs
1 lemon
1 hint of salt
250 grams of white flour
4 teaspoons of Baking Powder
3 apples

Instructions:

Pre-heat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Cream the butter and add 125 grams of sugar, eggs, salt and the lemon grated rind. Mix these ingredients and then add flour and baking powder.
Peel and slice the apples and mix them with the lemon juice.
Pour the dough in a round pan (diameter 26 cm), put in the dough the apples’ slices and cover with the remained sugar. Put the pan in the oven.
Bake for 50-60 minutes. When the pie is ready, remove it from oven and let it cool down.

Sauce for Pork or Chicken
Description: Note: ingredients listed are used to make the sauce
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp ketchup

Instructions:

Cut pork of chicken into bite size pieces
Saute in oil {3 tbsp oil ,1 medium onion,1 green pepper,1 celery strip}
Remove from pan, in same pan brown meat with 1 clove garlic minced,salt and papper to taste.
Dissolve 1 tbsp cornstarch in 1/4 cup chicken broth.
Add to sauce to thicken it.
Pour sauce over meat and add vegetables, cover and simmer for 45 mins.

Banana Loaf
Description: Shared by stitchingtime
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

3 tblsp margarine
3/4 cup sugar
3 bananas (really ripe ones)
2 tblsp molasses
2 eggs
1 and 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
(optional: 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts)

Preparation:
Oven - preheat to 350F.

Instructions:

Cream margarine and sugar.
Mix in mashed bananas, molasses and eggs until smooth.
Mix in another bowl - flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until smooth. Fold in nuts if wanted.
Bake at 350F for one hour or until done. I have used 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" loaf pan or 4 of my mini pans 3" x 4 1/2"
