Christmas Cards

Postby Birthe » Tue Dec 19, 2017 10:25 am

I need help! I am making a card for a relative.
The stitching is finished. Now I want to attach it to the front of the card - not inserted in it.
How to I attach it? Use white glue or what?
Help!

I use double sided sticky tape- no idea what its correct name is. It is widely used in card making. I attach it to the back of the stitching along its edges and then stick it to the card.

I always use double sided tape too. I usually find it in the scrapbooking section of Michaels.

Double sided scotch tape works for me or even the tape in a large roll that is narrow and you peel off one side attach to your design or card...then peel off the other side...attach with a little pressure and voila, purchased at the Dollar store...Good Luck %%-

I, too, use double sided tape. Another idea is putting brads in each corner of the stitching and through the card. Or using a sharp needle, sew tiny buttons in the corners.
