Designs you never stitch

Postby Lyudmila » Tue Oct 17, 2017 8:04 pm

I dont stitch sculls, all those children with ghostly eyes, from Japanese anime movies included, gloomy landscapes, fairies, witches and Co, HAED designs, especially fantazy ones, all sorts of ruins or miserable houses, hummingbirds, Lickle Ted, Russian bears- just to mention a few.
What about you? :)]

Lydumila I was thinking of asking a similar question..
I never stitch anything Halloween....Maybe I'm seen as a stick in the mud woman but I wont be involved in trick or treating either. Maybe the fun police see me as a sad old gal . Far to commercialized for me.I have heaps of other garden. animal , samplers or little different projects to keep me happy.

I am totally with both of you - no ugly stuff for me - and no ghosts or jack'olanterns either....

I refuse to stitch religious pieces, even by request, I don't care for landscapes, anything I consider "cutesy", though cute is fine, there is a difference. I won't do stylized designs either.

I don't like to stitch samplers. Not over fond of landscapes either.

There are many themes I would not stitch for myself ( cutesy , religious , those off colour sayings) but I can not say I would never stitch any . I have stitched things that do not personally appeal to me as gifts or for exchanges. One thing I think I can safely say is I most likely will never stitch a HAED - just too massive !!!!!!!

HAED has bookmark sized pieces as well as smaller freebies (at least they used to).
